From Trident Nuclear Submarine to Visionary Venture

Embarking on this transformative journey, I, Anthony B. Miles, invite you into the narrative of my wonderful life – a journey that transcends the depths of the USS Alaska SSBN 732 (B), a Trident Nuclear Submarine.

Through years of service, I cultivated dedication and unwavering commitment, values that would propel me beyond the submarine into the realms of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Beyond the confines of military life, I emerged not just as a seasoned submariner but as a multifaceted individual.

My pursuits expanded from the pages of an accomplished author and international speaker to impactful contributions in urban healthcare real estate development in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As the Co-Architect of the Preventative Health Hub®, my aim was to instigate positive change in underserved and blighted communities, etching an indelible mark on the landscape.

Yet, at the age of 58 my entrepreneurial spirit hungered for more. The visionary within me glimpsed an opportunity to revolutionize eyewear health for professionals across diverse worksites.

And so, BON VIVANT SAFETY EYEWEAR was born – a Black American & Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturer and Wholesaler, a testament to my unwavering commitment to excellence.

As the CEO/COO of BON VIVANT, I've charted a course into uncharted territories.

Under my leadership, the company in 6 months is now launching a cutting-edge Supplemental Health Benefits Platform under the brand LENSRXLAB to provide comprehensive and affordable eye health solutions, covering diabetes, safety benefits management, and safety compliance for government and corporate worksites.

This program transcends mere eyewear; it signifies a fusion of safety, style, health, and wellness crafted for individuals navigating demanding environments.

My journey, from Trident Nuclear Submarine Veteran to an urban healthcare real estate developer and now the visionary force behind Bon Vivant along with Dr. Chelise Firmin and Jennifer Marin, unfolds as a narrative of evolution and innovation. Rooted in a commitment to service and an unwavering dedication to community health and wellness at scale, I drive transformative initiatives that echo far beyond my naval beginnings.
